The James A. Michener Art Museum is named for its founding benefactor, the Pulitzer Prize winning novelist and nonfiction writer, but its ongoing success is a direct result of the foresight and generosity of all those people who have helped the Museum thrive through their giving. After her husband’s passing, Mari Sabusawa Michener helped the Museum become the institution that it is today through her thoughtful legacy planning. The Mari Sabusawa Michener Legacy Society honors the vision and generosity of all those people who help to secure the Museum’s future through planned giving.
